据海关统计，今年前5个月，我国货物贸易进出口总值11.63万亿元人民币，比去年同期（下同）增长8.8%。其中，出口6.14万亿元，增长5.5%；进口5.49万亿元，增长12.6%；贸易顺差6498.1亿元，收窄31%。
5月份，我国进出口总值2.53万亿元，增长8.6%。其中，出口1.34万亿元，增长3.2%；进口1.19万亿元，增长15.6%；贸易顺差1565.1亿元，收窄43.1%。
一般贸易快速增长且比重提升。前5个月，我国一般贸易进出口6.84万亿元，增长12.7%，占我外贸总值的58.8%，比去年同期提升2个百分点。其中，出口3.48万亿元，增长10.7%；进口3.36万亿元，增长14.9%；贸易顺差1177.1亿元，收窄45.8%。同期，加工贸易进出口3.09万亿元，增长1.7%，占26.5%，下滑1.9个百分点。其中，出口1.95万亿元，增长0.3%；进口1.14万亿元，增长4.3%；贸易顺差8002.9亿元，收窄4.9%。此外，我国以保税物流方式进出口1.27万亿元，增长17.2%，占我外贸总值的10.9%。其中，出口3998.6亿元，增长19.7%；进口8652.6亿元，增长16%。
对欧盟、美国、东盟和日本等主要市场进出口均增长，对“一带一路”沿线国家进出口增速高于整体。前5个月，中欧贸易总值1.7万亿元，增长7.3%，占我外贸总值的14.6%。其中，我对欧盟出口9976.2亿元，增长4.4%；自欧盟进口7061亿元，增长11.8%；对欧贸易顺差2915.2亿元，收窄10%。中美贸易总值为1.57万亿元，增长5.3%，占我外贸总值的13.5%。前5个月，我与东盟贸易总值为1.49万亿元，增长11.9%，占我外贸总值的12.8%。其中，我对东盟出口8114.5亿元，增长10.4%；自东盟进口6796.6亿元，增长13.7%；对东盟贸易顺差1317.9亿元，收窄4%。中日贸易总值为8382.9亿元，增长4.5%，占我外贸总值的7.2%。其中，对日本出口3754.1亿元，增长0.8%；自日本进口4628.8亿元，增长7.8%；对日贸易逆差874.7亿元，扩大53.6%。同期，我国对“一带一路”沿线国家合计进出口3.21万亿元，增长11.1%，高出全国整体增速2.3个百分点，占我外贸总值的27.6%，比重提升0.6个百分点。海关统计显示，我国与俄罗斯、印度、巴基斯坦、哈萨克斯坦、吉尔吉斯斯坦、乌兹别克斯坦和塔吉克斯坦等7个上海合作组织成员国进出口增长较快。今年前5个月，我国与上海合作组织其他7个成员国进出口6363.1亿元，同比增长10.3%，高出同期我国整体外贸增速1.5个百分点；其中，出口4130.9亿元，增长6.5%；进口2232.2亿元，增长18.2%。前5个月，我与俄罗斯贸易总值为2605.2亿元，增长18%，其中出口1173.8亿元，增长12.2%；进口1431.4亿元，增长23.2%。
民营企业所占比重进一步提升。前5个月，民营企业进出口4.52万亿元，增长11.7%，占我外贸总值的38.9%，比去年同期提升1个百分点。其中，出口2.9万亿元，增长7.8%，占出口总值的47.2%；进口1.62万亿元，增长19.3%，占进口总值的29.6%。同期，外商投资企业进出口4.95万亿元，增长4.3%，占我外贸总值的42.6%。其中，出口2.56万亿元，增长2.2%；进口2.39万亿元，增长6.6%。此外，国有企业进出口2.11万亿元，增长13.8%，占我外贸总值的18.1%。其中，出口6766.5亿元，增长9.4%；进口1.43万亿元，增长16%。

机电产品出口增长，传统劳动密集型产品出口下降。前5个月，我国机电产品出口3.61万亿元，增长7.9%，占出口总值的58.8%。其中，电器及电子产品出口1.59万亿元，增长8.6%；机械设备1.09万亿元，增长10.6%。同期，服装出口3510.5亿元，下降9%；纺织品3052.3亿元，增长3.1%；家具1358.6亿元，下降2%；鞋类1161.5亿元，下降11.8%；塑料制品1057.8亿元，增长2.8%；箱包666.5亿元，下降7.9%；玩具506.4亿元，下降3%；上述7大类劳动密集型产品合计出口1.13万亿元，下降4.1%，占出口总值的18.4%。此外，钢材出口2849万吨，减少16.3%；汽车44万辆，增加26.1%。
铁矿砂、原油和天然气等商品进口量增加，大宗商品进口均价涨跌互现。前5个月，我国进口铁矿砂4.48亿吨，增加0.7%，进口均价为每吨455.1元，下跌15.8%；原油1.9亿吨，增加8%，进口均价为每吨3099.3元，上涨15.6%；煤1.21亿吨，增加8.2%，进口均价为每吨553元，下跌7%；大豆3617万吨，减少2.6%，进口均价为每吨2728元，下跌6.9%；天然气3480万吨，增加36.4%，进口均价为每吨2509.7元，上涨13.3%；成品油1427万吨，增加12.4%，进口均价为每吨3629.6元，上涨10.7%；初级形状的塑料1328万吨，增加14.1%，进口均价为每吨1.11万元，下跌3.2%；钢材563万吨，减少0.7%，进口均价为每吨8059.8元，上涨10%；未锻轧铜及铜材215万吨，增加16.7%，进口均价为每吨4.74万元，上涨9.3%。此外，机电产品进口2.43万亿元，增长14.7%；其中汽车46万辆，减少2.7%。
